O'shiny's artistic approach

“I have always been attracted and captivated by the enchanting universe of haute couture, awakening in me an undeniable fascination, in particular for the nobility of the materials deployed there. My first incursions into this area were manifested through the use of "Pantone" markers, precious auxiliaries for my style boards. This was a real revelation, a journey through the subtleties of the hues, the carefully orchestrated gradations and the harmonious play of shades.

What charmed me most about this approach was the incredible realism that these instruments gave to my sketches. The solid colors revealed a medium that would later become the driving force of my art: gouache.

My first pictorial attempts consisted of painting mandalas and Buddhas on canson paper, and it was then that I became acquainted with pointillism.

Today, my brushes glide over canvases, on which I compose landscapes imbued with a resolutely "Zen" aura. I passionately integrate architectural structures that give them a three-dimensional depth, while embellishing these scenes with my characters with distinctive features. Each of my creations is a real "jewellery painting", adorned with a subtle balance between 80% gouache and 20% acrylic.

In the future, my aspirations are directed towards the transposition of the viewer into a virtual world, while continuing to give life to my works through my favorite mediums, which I will adapt to new emerging technologies”.
